The KVIAZ Trust Score™
How we evaluate products.
A clear framework for evaluating K-Beauty products before we recommend them. Rigorous behind the score. Simple in front of the buyer.
Explore the KTS ↓Why it exists
A score you can actually see the reasoning behind.
The beauty industry is full of ratings and recommendations, most of them unexplained. A star average doesn't tell you what was tested, what wasn't, or why one product outranked another.
The KVIAZ Trust Score™ exists to make that reasoning visible — the same framework behind every product we recommend, so you can see not only what we recommend, but why.
The framework
Six dimensions. One hundred points.
Formula
How well the product is formulated for its intended purpose.
Evidence
How well the relevant ingredients and claims are supported.
Performance
How well the product performs its primary job.
Experience
How practical and enjoyable it is to use consistently.
Value
Whether the overall experience justifies the price.
Purchase Confidence
How confidently you can buy it through a trusted channel.
The scale
One hundred points, two layers.
The final score combines how well the product performs with how confidently you can buy it. A great formula means little if the purchase itself is a gamble — so both layers count toward the same number.

KVIAZ Verdict
A strong everyday product with a well-designed formula, good usability and strong overall value.
Why we like it
- Strong formulation
- Good support for key ingredients
- Easy to use
- Attractive value
Keep in mind
- Results vary by skin type
- Product-specific evidence may be limited
This is a sample layout only — not the evaluation of an actual product.
How we weigh evidence
Not all evidence is equal.
KVIAZ considers many kinds of evidence — scientific research, product-specific information, manufacturer documentation, our own structured testing, and real consumer experience. We don't treat them the same way.
- Ingredient evidence doesn't automatically prove a finished product will work the same way.
- Manufacturer claims are identified as manufacturer claims, not independent evidence.
- Community reviews can reveal useful patterns — they aren't treated as scientific proof.
- When evidence is limited, we say so, rather than filling the gap with confidence we don't have.
Built by category
The framework stays the same. The criteria adapt.
A sunscreen isn't evaluated the same way as a cleanser or a serum. Formula, Evidence, Value and Purchase Confidence apply consistently across every category — but what "good performance" means shifts with what the product is actually for.
"Affiliate relationships never determine a product's KTS score or editorial verdict."
Editorial independence
A product receives the same evaluation whether or not KVIAZ earns a commission from its purchase. Affiliate links are how we fund this work — they are a monetization mechanism, not an evaluation criterion.
Our promise
What you can expect from every score.
We will tell you what we know.
We will tell you what we don't.
We will distinguish evidence from marketing.
We will disclose meaningful limitations.
We will never change a score to improve affiliate conversion.
